After years of development and tons of rumour, apple for the first time showcased an apple watch, the first product in a new category after the steve jobs era under the watch of tim cook who took over jobs as the ceo.

Apple watch is available from the first quarter of 2015 at a price tag of $349 and its available in 2 sizes and 3 different styles. The main functionality of the watch is to measure the fitness parameters and to make payments with NFC capabilities

Apple is making an attempt to replace your credit card with its mobile wallet system called as apple pay which uses nfc capabilities to make payment as a traditional credit card and authenticated by your finger print which is unique for every individual with help of its touch id sensor.

This system will be introduced in various partner outlets across the united states coming October.

This is a new system and we will have to wait and watch how it turns only time can tell whether it is actually useful or is just a hyped feature
