Barcelona without goals against Malaga

The incident between Messi and Vellington
FC Barcelona played a bore draw against Malaga in 5th round of Spain Primera. After 90 minutes the result on Malaga's stadium was 0:0.

This was the poorest performance from Catalonia's club. After four wins in row, this was the first match where Barcelona didn't score. Also, Barcelona had zero shots on target.

The bored match played on La Rosaleda stadium was in shadow of incident between Barcelona's star Lionel Messi and Malaga's defender Welington. In second half, after argue in penalty area, Messi was strangled on the ground after by Weligton. The malaga's defender got only a yellow card, make the Barcelona's fans and players so angry. Messi, the Argentinian star was chasing the 400th career goal, but he must wait another game.

Malaga find a way to stop Barcelona's attack. This was a frustrate night for Barcelona's players. Although they have a game control, Barcelona's players didn't make a shot on target. Messi, Neymar and Pedro was powerless against Malaga's defense. Luis Enrique will hardly wait for Luis Suarez's comeback on the pitch.

On the other side, Barcelona still have a great defense. After five matches, they have a zero conceded goals, make a five clean sheet after five games. This fact makes the Barcelona's defense one of the best in Europe for now, with 11:0 goals deference.

Barcelona is still the leader in La Liga. Now they have a 13 point from five matches, sharing the first place along side Sevilla, which has a same score. The club from Catalonia now has a four points advantage ahead biggest rivals Real Madrid.

Luis Enrique's squad will have a easy task in next round. They will play against Granada on Nou Camp stadium. This should be a chance to improve the play, and to prove that the last game was only a bad day.
