DHL Delivers Couriers Using Drones in Germany, Amazon And Google Have Similar Plans For US

The world’s largest logistic company DHL has started delivering medicines courier using unmanned aerial devices technically called as quadracopter but is being dubbed as parcelcopter

While Amazon and Google have been conducting tests to establish a delivery system, it was the German giant which has actually launched this system into use in small scale. This service basically includes a drone to carry a specific weighted courier to a pinpointed location and drop the courier into a safe cushion below or actually land in a targeted location where the company representative will remove the courier and deliver it.

this service as reported by the company is useful in delivering courier which are difficult to reach by road, rail or in an aircraft and also where it is cost effective to send a drone instead of a vehicle along with the courier but as of now it is available only in the Germany across an island where it is difficult to reach and reportedly the drone system is very effective

The major setback for this system in america is that there aren't any specific drone flight commission to regulate the flight system where there needs to be a specific path for the drone to travel and deliver in a populated area which is associated with a certain amount of risk but the overall view is that US consumers may soon have their courier dropped into their hands from the air..........hope that they will be able to catch it

are you excited?
