Samsung’s galaxy s5 can be best described as disappointing since
its sales figure has been dismal with the similar pebble plastic design. Although
it has solid internal upgraded components, it doesn’t bring anything new to the
table. Consumer got smart and decided to not buy a smartphone which offers
nothing new except a heart rate monitor.
The result is that Samsung market share kept falling and the
profits plummeted. It faces a severe threat from the Chinese and Indian smartphone
makers that keep producing solid phones with mid ranged specs at a much lower
price.
Pressure is mounting on Samsung to deliver a diamond or
perish in the attempt. The smartphone maker, never to run away from a challenge
is preparing a solid of a phone. The leaked rumour suggest some of the biggest
changes in the smart phone world with a quad hd 5.2 inch bent display. Covering
it is next gen corning’s gorilla glass 4. Powering it is the snapdragon 810
chip set that is yet to be released.
The biggest change will be the uni body structure which will
be made of a metal housing a mammoth battery. As usual it will be run by the
latest android which will most likely be lollipop. A bezel less display is also
being heard but is yet to be confirmed. As far as memory is concerned, Samsung is
set to eliminate the 16 gb models with 32 gb as base model increasing up to 64
gb and 128 gb
Expect his phone by summer of 2015.
