Samsung electronics has introduced the all metal a3 and a5
phones close on the heels of semi metal note 4 and galaxy alpha
There is some serious discussion going on in the south Korean
head quarters as the profits of the mobile division has slided more than 70%
owing to quality phones from Indian and Chinese manufactures at the low end and
the iphone taking away the crown in the higher end segment.
But part of the blame also lies at Samsung’s doorstep. The world
leader in smartphone production has produces cheap plastic phone for a couple
of years now and it cannot hope to survive on this market saturation as the
consumers want better products for their money which is clearly Motorola and
xiaomi is doing
Samsung has hence decided that diving into the metal phone
segment will help it regain its financial stability and leader position in the
smartphone segment. As a part of this plan is the a5 and a3 phones. Do not
mistake it for a high end phone due to it all metal unibody construction.
These are mid ranged phones with mid range specificarions
which should appeal to general consumers
