Toshiba, as in the past, released an excellent but expensive
chromebook that is aimed as your work replacement computer but does it succeed?
Chromebook have been with us for quiet sometime, with Google
developing a full length computer operating system, it tries to enter into a
world where giants like Microsoft and apple dominate. The chrome os is very
simple to understand but without as many features as its rivals.
With the beginning of end of dominance of windows, Google
aims to replace windows with its own chrome os. Supporting this are the major
manufacturers like Lenovo, hp, Samsung and Acer who have releases their own
versions of chrombook. As it progresses, Google can only make chrome os better
with required features that will make it a main stream operating system.
Coming to the toshiba’s chromebook 2, a gorgeous full hd
screen has been added to the system that is coupled with a powerful processor
that can handle the operating system smoothly. Faster wireless 802.11ac is
included along with good sounding speakers. Full supported for sdxc card has
been added for uploading your photos and videos.
On the down side, the built quality felt cheap
for such an expensive computer. It built dimension suggest that the computer is
a bit bulkier that the last year’s model and the battery life disappoints
Overall, toshiba’s chrombook 2 impresses which can be aimed
for casual pc users but still eludes as a work computer replacement.
