The consumer giant, which has been pushing into tech
industry, had debuted a new device, the echo, which I think is something from
the future
Amazon, after the debacle of its fire phone, which has seen
poor sales and made huge losses to the company has not discouraged the company
to release a new consumer device which is more like a personal assistant that a
connected device.
This almost 10 inches tall tower like device can be plugged
into a power outlet and can be placed almost anywhere but it can still listen
to you from far away thanks to its 7 microphones. But what does this device do
to make it so special? Well, It can play music, tell you general information,
answer your kids question. It can even read you your newspaper but it still
cannot clean your toilet
These devices will be connected to your home wi fi network
and to the Amazon cloud database to answer all your queries. With the connected
app, you can connect your iphone or android device to it through Bluetooth and
make it do thing which you like such as to play music from your playlist, take
down notes.
It also works as an independent device such as an alarm
clock and with its ability to connect to the cloud; it can make Amazon
purchases of songs and items that will be delivered to your door steps
Although everything works perfectly in the ad, the real life
working is yet to be determined
