Assassins creed: unity review is out and its disappointing

Ubisoft is relying on this game series too much and the same is reflected in the games which are not very good

Assassin’s creed 2 was a blockbuster game for me joining the ranks of god of war and devil may cry 4 on my “die for game list”. First assassins creed game was good game by all means but with a repetitive game play infused with strong story and a fresh feel away from the point and shoot games.

The next in the game took the series to its pinnacle point with and intense story of bold and betrayal (murders included) which made me impatient for the next in the series, then came the brotherhood which was a nice game but by no means an assassins creed 2. Revelation was very disappointing and i had to play it just to see how the story of ezio ends.

Assassin’s creed 3 had its fine moments but i found it very hard to finish the game as my interest level kept on diving. The real stab can in form of black flag; I played the game for an hour and had enough. I had wasted money on this game

The latest release of unity is even more disappointing with weak story. I always thought that ubisoft was rushing unfinished games into release and causing series fatigue. But this year, since there are 2 AAA titles for ubisoft for this series, one for the current and previous generation, it should consider whether making so many games in so little title will be like stretching their luck too far. unity has some of the technical highlights of the series.

Ubisoft has other games such as the crew and far cry 4 coming up very shortly.
