Never alone is a puzzle game developed by an independent
game studio, upper one games. The beauty of this game is in its simplicity which
features a girl named nuna and her loyal arctic fox. Both of them set out on a
journey where they seek the endless blizzards which are harming their homeland.
The game will feature 8 levels across which you will have to
play as nuna and also as her arctic fox to progress further across the game. The
game play is fairly similar but it reminded me of the other favourite game
limbo. Nuna and her fox have unique abilities when played with fox having higher
jumping distance and wall climbing ability while nuna can push or pull an
object.
The charm of the game lies in its art culture, the child
like art which will tell you this arctic
folklore surprising good and you would wish you had a fox like the one nuna
has. After playing the game which is short but definitely sweet, you would want
to learn more about the Alaskan culture.
This game never tells you to play it, it simply attracts
your imagination where you will want to play it. That is magical. And you never murder an enemy;
you simply defeat them and move past them. That what, i felt was most touching.
With its simple style and one of the best story narrations,
this game is an emotional experience which is highly recommended to every gamer
